Next, we make our way to Eling Forest, recognised for its true expression of the unique climate of the Southern Highlands territory expressed in the production of elegant and balanced wines. Here we also try some local ciders in their cellar door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We then head to the township of Bowral \u2013 where we enjoy some local food and our third tasting of the day at the Mill precinct, an artfully restored hub with a selection of restaurants and cafes. As we enjoy share plates for lunch from the resident foodie stalls, we connect with Tractorless Vineyard, a winery who has combined old world knowledge with new world techniques and is guided by Biodynamic principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a tasting, or two we depart around 2.30pm to drive to our last winery of the day with a trip along Wombeyan Caves Road to Joadja Estate, the Oldest Winery in the region.
